Everyone has a boss!

A great start up idea-- classes to manage your boss! There are marriage counselors and career counselors but there is no such thing as managing relationships at work. Why not? After all you spend 8 hrs of a day at work, 8 hrs of day in the sleepcomfort, beautyrest, posturepedic or memory foam mattress and the rest 8 hrs to make the other two work. Well when you marry, you get to date at least. But you never know with whom you land at work..

Where is my crown?

In the middle of the night Anoushka woke up yelling: "Where is my crown?"
I ignored her for a bit but she wont give up. I told her its there. dont worry but she said again, Anoushka:"Where is my crown? Its not on my head."
Mommy:"Anoushka, Princesses dont sleep with the crown ON as it hurts to sleep in it. Your crown is kept in the bedroom for safe keeping."
Anoushka:"ok"
and went to sleep instantaneously! :)

The other day I was driving her to the daycare and told her that she needs to tell me if there was anything wrong with my clothes. As in the collar was folded or the jacket with the wrong side up etc. and she jumps up and says "You mean you will change clothes in the car? You have clothes in the car?"

I always used the term 'Fire' saying that my boss will fire me if I go late to work or dont attend the conf call. Eventually after the company closed, Anoushka related that to being Fired and asked me
Anoushka:"Mom, did your boss throwed a candle at you to fire you?"
Mom:"No Anoushka. NO ONE DOES THAT! and dont ever talk like that."
Anoushka:"But did he throw candle at you to Fire you and then throwed water and said sorry?"

Tomorrow never comes..

Daddy: Anoushka, can I sleep here today?
Anoushka: You can sleep her tomorrow daddy.
Daddy: But Anoushka you told me that yesterday that I can sleep here 'tomorrow'
Anoushka: No daddy, I will let you sleep here tomorrow. ok?

Birthday dress!

Anoushka's Birthday Part 2

I: "Anoushka, how did you like your birthday?"

Anoushka: "It was good."

I:"What was the best part you like about birthday?"

Anoushka:"I like gifts and my skirt"

I:"What did you not like?"

Anoushka:"Cutting the cake.. all the time. Cut the cake and blow the candle and the cut the cake and blow the candle. and the cake was so hard to cut with the knife. Its so boring!"

I know what she means. (now) We had a bit too many cakes for her bday this year. We celebrated the bday at midnight at home on the actual day with the rich chocolate cake from The prolific Oven.

Then we had this huge 'Princess theme' cake for the party at Pump it up. It was strawberry with fresh cream.

And we also did her birthday in the daycare with Choclate and Vanilla Icecream cake. This was particularly hard to cut since it was frozen icecream cake. :) No wonder she thought it was a tough and tiring job for her to cut it.
